Complete Oral Rehabilitation for Maria P at Clínica Bona

Maria came to Clínica Bona on the recommendation of a family member who is one of our patients. She arrived as an emergency because an old porcelain-fused-to-metal bridge, done years ago, had fractured. Furthermore, she presented with severe wear due to bruxism and an unbalanced bite.

From the very first visit, we explained the importance of a complete rehabilitation to restore the functionality and balance of her bite. Juan Pablo, with a great understanding of his own bite, helped us fine-tune every detail during the try-ins with temporary restorations, always aiming for maximum comfort.

Step by step treatment plan:

1. Diagnosis and planning: photographic study, CT scan and digital scan.
2. Smile design mock-up to visualise the final result.
3. Removal of old bridges, placement of eight implants with AI-guided surgery between the upper and lower jaw, bone graft, and placement of removable temporary dentures.
4. After five months, second surgery and taking measurements on implants in the upper and lower jaw.
5. Removal of old bridges and placement of temporary restorations in the upper and lower jaw.
6. Bite validation by the patient to ensure maximum comfort.
