When did you start working at Clínica Dental Bona?
I’m from Burgos, and I moved to Alicante in 2016 after completing a two-year Master's in Surgery and Prosthetics in Madrid. In 2017, I started working at Bona.
What qualities should a good dentist specialising in aesthetics have?
I’m very perfectionist and detail-oriented. I need my work to be excellent to feel satisfied. Harmony and case individualisation are key.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy going to the gym with a group of friends I met shortly after moving to Alicante. I’m passionate about the mountains and go hiking in the province every weekend I can, with my husband and family. I like adrenaline-filled sports and try new activities whenever possible; this year, I plan to try climbing.
It might sound cliché, but travelling is another passion of mine. I enjoy all kinds of trips, whether short or long, national or international. A simple plan I often do in autumn and winter is meditating or reading by the beach.
I also love gastronomy, especially traditional “grandma-style” dishes, as they say, hearty and comforting. I’m not a fan of fusion or Michelin-star-style restaurants.
What do you like most about working at Clínica Dental Bona?
The work environment, which I divide into three aspects: the team, time, and technology.
- Team: I’ve been working with colleagues for at least 5 to 10 years, so we know each other perfectly.
- Time: There’s no rush to finish treatments; the goal is to complete them as perfectly as possible.
- Technology: We have all the latest technology available to provide the best service for our patients, including CBCT dental CT scans, intraoral scanners, photographic studios, dental microscopes, and 3D dental printers.
Is there a patient or treatment you remember fondly from these years?
There are many, but I especially enjoy listening to older patients talk about their life experiences and perspectives. I remember special people more than special treatments; sometimes, simple treatments in extraordinary people leave the most lasting memories.
What makes Clínica Dental Bona different from other dental clinics?
It’s what I mentioned earlier about what I like most: the team, the people, and the environment, which wouldn’t be the same without Vanessa, Yolanda, Remedios, Desireé, Donatella, Isabel, and Enrique.
The technology: we have all the tools and materials on the market to deliver the best results.
Time: the focus is on getting the work done properly, no matter how long it takes.
