Orthodontics
At Bona Dental Clinic, we have professionals specialized in both pediatric and adult orthodontics. We focus on correcting tooth alignment (aesthetic orthodontics) and preventing incorrect bites in younger patients. Orthodontics in adulthood can also help prevent and improve gum problems.
Orthodontic treatments can be carried out using: Metal Braces, Ceramic Braces, Sapphire Braces, Customized Braces, Removable Appliances, and Invisible Orthodontics.
Visible Orthodontics
These braces are fixed, meaning they cannot be removed as they are bonded to the teeth, and they perfectly correct any dental misalignment.
Invisible Orthodontics
These correct the position of the teeth. They are removed only for eating and brushing teeth, and the aligner is changed every two weeks. This is the treatment of choice for those seeking comfort, as they are completely smooth, for hygiene, as they allow thorough mouth cleaning, and for aesthetics, as they are virtually invisible.
Dentofacial Orthopedics
This is crucial to avoid future problems. Early diagnosis (at 6 years old) is essential.
Lingual Orthodontics
These braces are worn on the inner side of the teeth, are fixed, and are not visible.
Interceptive Orthodontics
Such as mouth breathing, infant swallowing, or thumb sucking, which cause abnormal growth of the jawbones. We can help eliminate these habits and redirect the position of the affected bones and teeth.
